New York Attorney General Letitia James has reached an agreement with Major Energy Services, LLC. The Office of the Attorney General of the State of New York (“NYAG”) has determined that New York consumers are eligible to receive payments as compensation for money lost due to this company’s deceptive business practices.
The Restitution payment is a consequence of enforcement action against Major Energy Services, LLC. In December 2022, Major Energy Services, LLC entered into Assurance of Discontinuance (“Assurance”) with the NYAG and agreed to pay the sum of $1,500,000 to be used by the NYAG for restitution to certain current and former residential and commercial Major Energy Services, LLC consumers and the administrative costs of said restitution.
